ITINERARY
We will explore the coastal town, with its colourful waterfront houses, beautiful lagoons and its lively fishing harbour. In the city of Aveiro, you can visit the traditional and local market and enjoy the traditional “moliceiro” boat. You will be delighted if you taste a traditional dessert – “ovos moles” – a tasty egg-based dessert, which made the city famous and well known.
We’ll head to Coimbra. Follow your guide on a walking tour through the historical centre, the former medieval capital of Portugal and home to the prestigious University of Coimbra, one of the oldest academic institutions in Europe.
