ITINERARY

We will Visit the Cathedral of Braga, the oldest of Portugal, and tour along the center of the city. Afterwards, we will go to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, a magnificent local monument, combining the work of Nature and the art of Mankind. The Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte is located on the top of Mount Espinho, surrounded by an enchanted and magical forest.

In Guimarães, you will discover and be surprised by the atmosphere of the medieval city combined with small modern details. Be aware to the fact that the “birth” of Portugal History began here: in Guimarães Castle! Visit the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança, a majestic 15th century manour house, built in order of D. Afonso . The Palace of the Dukes of Bragança is now a museum. We will continue with a walking tour to Guimarães down to Largo da Oliveira and visiting its Church.
